Using htaccess you can tell your own server to”forward” certain files to PHP scripts of yours. When a visitor attempts to load an image of the browser, you can activate a script that adds a watermark into the picture. When an HTML page is loaded you can query an IP-to-country database and have your HTML pages translated into the language of your customer’s country-of-origin. Every document in a folder, or all documents of a particular type in a folder, can be instructed to go through a PHP script.
